If you’re a better player, but you still want a bit of forgiveness in your irons, then read on – the new Ping i15 irons could be right up your street!
For a start the Ping i15 iron set is designed with slightly larger long irons to offer more forgiveness from further out – after all, a three-iron looks intimidating at the best of times!
The smaller i15 mid-irons provide some added stability but at the same time provide a slightly lower trajectory to enhance distance control.
The Ping i15 short irons have been designed to be nice and compact to create a more controlled ball-flight as well as more power from poorer lies which leads to better scoring opportunities.
The body of the irons have also been improved by the addition of a dense tungsten toe weight which increases the MOI by 3%, adding to the overall forgiveness of the i15s.
