Phil Mickelson in the bag: Shell Houston Open

According to most experts Callaway player Phil Mickelson was only using the Shell Houston Open as a few competitive practice rounds before the Masters following a slow start to the season by his standards.

At the end of the second day that belief looked to be not too far off the mark but then Mickelson went on a birdie frenzy and ended up winning the tournament.

Lefty birdied 18 of his final 36 holes to win by three and make himself red hot favourite for his second successive Masters win this week.

Here are the clubs he won with in Houston:

DRIVER: Callaway RAZR Hawk Tour (9.5°)
FAIRWAY WOOD: Callaway Big Bertha Diablo (15°)
IRONS: Callaway X-Forged (3-4), RAZR X Forged Muscleback (5-PW)
WEDGES: Callaway JAWS (52°, 60°, 64°)
PUTTER: Odyssey White Hot XG Blade
BALL: Callaway Tour i(z)
