TaylorMade Launch New Burner OS Irons

TaylorMade have launched their new Burner OS irons for 2012. The “oversize” distance irons are engineered for players seeking forgiveness and maximum performance.

Key to the Burner OS performance is a wide sole camber that glides smoothly through the turf for consistently clean contact. Its low positioned centre of gravity and thin face construction help produce a faster ball speed and high ball flight. “From the long to the short irons, the Burner OS irons are incredibly easy to play,” said Gary Gallagher, TaylorMade Product Category Manager for Irons. “The wide soles and the thin faces of the new Burner OS is the perfect recipe to produce high, long and straight golf shots.”

The Burner OS irons incorporate the company’s Inverted Cone Technology, which leads to consistent distance even on off-centre hits, and an ultra-lightweight shaft to promote a faster swing speed for increased distance. Aesthetically, the Burner OS feature a two-tone Gunmetal finish, and true to its oversize characteristics, the line features a thicker, confidence-inspiring top-line, along with a generous offset to provide a slight draw bias.

The clubs will be available in 5-iron through to SW (including AW) for right-handed golfers. A ladies’ version is also available in 5-iron through SW, including AW.
