TPEGS develops London links with Raymond Russell signing

TPEGS, the golf experience company run by Ryder Cup player and Sky Sports analyst Andrew Coltart and renowned European Tour coach Gary Nicol, has announced the singing of former European Tour pro Raymond Russell in a move that will see the Archerfield business target London’s corporate golf scene.

Russell will run a TPEGS operation out of the prestigious Centurion Club in St Albans, 30 minutes from London City Centre, where he will host corporate golf outings and coaching days with the firm’s growing client base in the south.

Andrew Coltart said: “In the context of Scottish golf, the experience we provide and facilities we have at Archerfield are second-to-none and we attract golfers from all over the UK and overseas. However, we see a real opportunity in bringing the TPEGS experience closer to the London corporate market and Raymond’s appointment is a key part of that strategy.

“Having a presence at the Centurion Club as well as our home at Archerfield Links in the heart of Scotland’s Golf Coast means we have two of the best venues in British golf and with Raymond’s experience and stature in the game he’s the perfect guy to develop our business in the south.”

TPEGS – which stands for Tour Pro Experience Golf Schools – opened for business in 2011 providing coaching for golfers of all standards from beginners to tournament winners, delivered by former leading professionals.

Since then, the business has expanded to offer a range of golf experiences including residential retreats, corporate events, private coaching and heligolf trips to some of Scotland’s most iconic golf destinations.

Raymond Russell said: “I’m delighted to be joining TPEGS at an exciting time for the business.

“In recent years they have ripped up the traditional corporate golf day format and replaced it with something that businesses actually benefit from, a more high-end, boutique, intimate experience which will live long in the memory of their clients and their clients’ clients.

“We’re very fortunate to have the Centurion Club as our London base and I look forward to building on what Gary and Andrew have done at Archerfield.”

Raymond Russell¹s appointment comes as TPEGS enters a new partnership with Mint Greens, the exclusive golf concierge service for private and corporate clients based in London.

TPEGS will provide unique experiences for members of Mint Greens, adding further value to their sought-after membership service with provides privileged access to leading courses near London and around the world.
