There looks set to be high drama at the Singapore Open as some of the game’s top names do battle at the top of the leaderboard.

Man-of-the-moment Graeme McDowell is third after two rounds whikle Ian Poulter has clim, bed into second place. Aussia Adam Scott l;eads the way at 12 under.

McDowell – who won the US Open this year and holed the winning putt in the Ryder Cup – looks like a man on a mission and could still steal the Race to Dubai title from Martin Kaymer. The German is also in the field, but it currently lying in tied 15th. McDwoell is about half-a-million Euros behind Kaymer, but a win could see him clinch the European Tour’s top spot.

Phil Mickelson – who is also vying to take over from Lee Westwood as World No1 – is also in the field, although is six shots behind the leader. But with two rounds remaining, the American will still be hoping to charge through the field.

There are some big names in the field and it’s a fitting end to a great European season.
