Daniel Gavins

Daniel Gavins

Daniel Gavins is better than Tiger Woods. He’s better than Francesco and Edoardo Molinari. He’s better than Justin Rose. He’s better than Ian Poulter.

Why?

He’s the record-holder for the TrackMan Combine Test, which is a test of accuracy and distance with every club in your bag. Gavins’ score of 93.0 is the best anyone has ever recorded, from tens of thousands of attempts.

Here’s an upsettingly low-quality video of the magical moment when Gavins set the record.

Gavins, who plays out of Oulton Hall, put together a 12-under total in the Final Stage of European Tour Qualifying, making him the second-highest ranked rookie.
