Titleist have rvealed a new Pro V1 golf ball.
Titleist’s legendary Pro V1 ball has clocked up 900 professional victories since its introduction in October 2000. Now, after seven years service Titleist reckon its time for an update.
The company is introducing a new model for 2007. The new balls have already been winning on tour in the hands of Ernie Els and should be available in golf shops everywhere soon.
Both the Pro V1 and Pro V1x have had makeovers and benefit from better aerodynamics and a new process for the joining the cover. Which for everyday day golfers means extra distance and greater consistency between shots.
The balls cover is also softer for better feel and a new alignment side stamp means their easier to set up on the green. When they hit the shops they are expected to retail for £11.50 for three.
